TrackIT and your department believe all employees do their jobs well the majority of the time, so if a leader does not enter performance log manually, each month the employee automatically receives a Standard rating for all Expectations (aka Tasks). In the months when a manual log is created (these are written by leaders with specific details related to an observed behavior), the score they select is used to calculate the performance score for that task and will be one of the three below.

  •  Above Standard – going above and beyond
  •  Standard – “what good looks like”; everyday expectations for employees
  •  Below Standard – opportunity for improvement

Multiple logs may be entered each month for the same task or for varying tasks. TrackIT suggests leaders add at least one manual log per month, per employee. The goal is to create consistent communication, to acknowledge accomplishments or areas for improvement. At the same time the data is available to create a comprehensive performance report at any time.
